Certification is the ultimate goal of the HCMBOK Training and Certification Program. It is an excellent way to demonstrate your expertise in human change management and set yourself apart from your peers. The Human Change Management Institute (HUCMI) offers three levels of certification, each of which is designed to help you develop the knowledge and skills necessary to become a successful change manager.
The first level of certification is the HCMBOK® – 3G Practitioner. This certification requires candidates to hold a university degree and complete Module I of the HCMBOK® guide training. Candidates must also pass a certification exam with at least 75% correct answers. Upon successful completion, you will have the knowledge and skills needed to manage the human factor in a change process and use the tools and techniques of change management.
The next level of certification is the HCMP® – 3G Expert Professional. This certification requires candidates to complete Module II of the HCMBOK® guide training and pass a certification exam with at least 75% correct answers. With this certification, you will be recognized as an expert professional in change management and will have the skills needed to analyze and manage the logical and psychological conflicts that often arise in change situations.
The highest level of certification is the HCMBOK® – Master Professional. This certification is granted to professionals who have completed the previous level of certification and have at least 1500 hours of work in projects using HCMBOK® macro-activities. With this certification, you will become part of an elite group of professionals who hold the highest title recognized by the HUCMI. This certification does not require a test of knowledge but rather the submission of a project case applying HCMBOK and its techniques. The project case will be reviewed by an evaluation commission from HUCMI and may be selected to be presented by you via conference call or approved directly.
